Thank you so much for making the total re-do in the courtyard and backyard so much fun. I loved working with you — your creativity, professionalism and hard work are so hard to find wrapped up in one person.
Carrie has transformed a plot of land that basically grew weeds and old cannas into a wonderful place for our family. She taught us about soil, permaculture, organic gardening, and what to grow when and where. When I have questions, she has the knowledge to keep us going!
We now have herbs for our kitchen, blackberries, grapes, tomatoes, peppers, squash, corn, pumpkins…you get the idea. Whenever I need help, she’s right there for me so I’m not alone in this endeavor. Best of all? Our four kids are learning so much and enjoy the process as much as I do!
I have learned so much from Carrie. She knows what will grow in what environment, which I think saves a lot of time, money and heartache in the long run. I wish I could start over with a clean slate and have her help me from the beginning!!!
[We] just love our new gardens and walkways. You made it so easy in your planning, to select the plants. And with the maintenance plan you gave us, we have easily taken care of it all.
. . .exceeds our desires and expectations. Using native plants, natural stone, and gentle contours, you have given us an environment that is beautiful (even when dormant) and that will require very little maintenance or additional water.
Thank you for transforming our property into a beautiful and functional landscape. You and your energetic team were professional, efficient, organized and delivered a quality product in a timely manner. We are completely satisfied with the results.
While working with Dubberley Landscape on this project, I learned how much water we were wasting. Our trees and plants will benefits from cutting back on water, plus we will not be needlessly draining water from our well and its aquifer.
Out of all the landscapers, irrigators and lawn maintenance people I’ve worked with, you are the only ones to suggest we turn our irrigation system off and rely on natural rainfall most of the year. Plus the native and well-adapted plants you
installed need less water than the azaleas and hostas you removed. We like your low-maintenance ideas that are sure to save time, money and energy.
I want to tell you how pleased we are with the rain garden you installed this spring. Foundation problems and drainage in a side yard prompted our call. Both conditions have been resolved as a result of your plan.
It was a bonus to us that your proposal included an attractive, low maintenance front yard rain garden, taking advantage of the water re-directed from the side yard. The meticulous installation work and initial care instructions you provided to us resulted in a 100% survival rate.
The level of communication and service. . .set a standard far higher than we have ever received from any contractor. We especially appreciated your flexibility in scaling the project to meet our budget. It’s been a pleasure to work with you. We are pleased to be the beneficiaries of your skill and expertise.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation…for helping us transform our front yard from a stereotypical patch of suburban lawn dotted by tired bushes to a fascinating xeriscape with multiple levels, berms and raingardens, grasses bending in the breeze, evergreens and patches of seasonal color…and no mowing.
We had done our homework and knew we wanted low-maintenance, drought-resistent plants with a stress on Texas natives. We had read about raingardens and wanted to explore that idea as well.
[Carrie Dubberley] is delightful to work with and immediately understood what we wanted. She came back to us with a plan that required little to no tinkering and worked within our funding limits
The garden is a revelation! We find new elements almost every time we look. Not surprisingly, people stop their cars to check it out and passersby give us the thumbs up. We love our garden!
